All proceeds from Wise Fest will be donated to The Walworth Country Fairgrounds.  The Walworth County Fair is the biggest county fair in Wisconsin, has been existence for 170 years, has never been owned by the government, and is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide a wholesome education experience to the community into the centuries to come.

From it beginning in 1850s, the Walworth County Fair has been one of the leading county fairs in the Midwest, having been recognized by several publications as a leader in programs for youth through its junior department and adults through its open class exhibits.  The association grounds and building are a model in the fair industry and presently include nearly 100 acres in the city of Elkhorn.  During its existence the fair has received the support of the entire County of Walworth as well as surrounding counties.  It is with the future of the fair in mind that the board of the Walworth County Agricultural Society, Inc. founded the Walworth County Fair Foundation Inc. on November 1, 2001 to build an endowment fund for the future needs of the fair. This will also ensure that new programs can continue to provide the citizens of our area with a wholesome and educational experience throughout the next century.

Wise Fest is the creation of husband and wife local band Wise Jennings who make the town of Lyons their home.  They wanted to do something special for their community that brought together good people, good music, for a good cause and thus began Wise Fest 2018.

Wise Jennings travels the region playing and patronizing festivals and venues that frankly just aren’t on the radar for most folks.  On this journey they have met incredible bands of all genres that most people will never get a chance to hear because they aren’t living in Milwaukee or Madison…or can’t stay awake long enough to catch an act that starts playing at midnight.  Additionally, Wise Jennings wants to use this festival as a way to give back to their local community.  This event is a not for profit event with all proceeds going to the Walworth County Fairgrounds.

Black Circle Records is located in Lake Geneva, WI and is owned and operated by Tim Townsend.  Black Circle Records along with Wise Farm Productions work frequently together to bring amazing music experiences to Lake Geneva and the surrounding areas.
